The Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad {Company 59} was formed in 1960 to provide pre-hospital care to the citizens of St. Mary's County. The "first due" run area consists of the entire Seventh Electoral District & selected areas of the Fourth Electoral District in St. Marys County.
Our members are 100% volunteer and certified to provide Basic Life Support and/or Advanced Life Support service to the citizens of St. Mary's County. We are affiliated with the St. Mary's County Ambulance and Rescue Squad Association, the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS), and the Maryland State Fireman's Association (MSFA). The squad maintains all standards set by the county, state, and national agencies at all times.
